God shows up and favors people who show up and are obedient to him. If you are comparing your situation to someone else just keep this in mind. Maybe the person you feel God favors is seeking him and trusting that He will resolve their hardships and that brings them a calm spirit and that is what you are seeing as God favoring them more than you because you are filled with worry and anxiety.
God’s “Favor” Isn’t Always What We Think
In human terms, favor might mean comfort, wealth, or success.
But in God’s terms, favor often means closeness to Him, strength in suffering, or being used to bless others.
Sometimes the people who seem least favored by the world are actually the most favored in God’s kingdom.
