Even in hard beginnings, a lot of people find that their pain shaped them in ways that later became their strength, purpose, or fuel.  That doesn’t make the pain okay — it just means it doesn’t have to be the end of your story.

Some people experience God most deeply NOT when life is good, but when they’re broken, angry, questioning, or desperate for something real.  The kind of relationship that grows from that space is often deeper than one built on comfort.  Its how God gets our attention and focus on him and not on our own selfish desires.

If God were to prevent all suffering, faith, genuine love, trust, and compassion, which require free choice, might not be possible.

  1. God doesn’t promise us an easy life – but suffering can be a catalyst for growth, spiritual development, and a deeper relationship with God.

If you’ve been through hell, you’re allowed to be mad. But maybe that fire also makes your spirit sharper, stronger, more compassionate — the kind of person who sees what others miss.
