Yes I believe God can provide you peace of mind if you focus on him.
Psalm 34:18 NIV says: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
That’s not poetry—it’s a promise. Your suffering doesn’t repel God; it draws His compassion.
Faithful People in Scripture Struggled Too
David, in the Psalms, cried out in despair and said things like “Why are you downcast, O my soul?”
Elijah, a powerful prophet, once felt so hopeless he asked God to take his life.
Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane, said His soul was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.
These weren’t signs of weak faith — they were raw, honest moments of being human in a broken world.
Struggling doesn’t mean you’re far from God. In fact, you may be closer than ever — because you’re still reaching, still questioning, still holding on in the middle of the storm. That’s real faith.
