    Faithful People in Scripture Struggled Too

    • David, in the Psalms, cried out in despair and said things like “Why are you downcast, O my soul?”

    • Elijah, a powerful prophet, once felt so hopeless he asked God to take his life.

    • Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane, said His soul was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.

    These weren’t signs of weak faith — they were raw, honest moments of being human in a broken world.
